Meet Fremont sculptor Ben Vose, talk with him about his process and view his sculptures of elephants, bison, hippo’s, bears and much more. Ben works with hydro-stone plaster and each sculpture is hand painted to look like bronze. Ben’s sculptures are a limited-edition series of only 50, each sculpture is signed and numbered.

Hydro Stone plaster is a gypsum product which is considerably harder than regular plaster of Paris, and lacks the period of plasticity in its setting curve which allows plaster to be worked directly.
