February 26 Pleasanton’s Museum on Main will debut its 2026 Ed Kinney Speaker series with Madelyn Porter portraying Sojourner Truth, an African American and women’s rights activist and abolitionist. 

February 28 from 1-3 p.m. at the Pleasanton Public Library. The event will honor the “history, culture, and contributions of African Americans through music, storytelling, and activities designed for all ages”.
